Our teas are packaged in triple-layer bags specially designed to ensure the freshness of the tea. The inner layer is made of natural paper so that nothing artificial touches the teas. The middle layer is foil to ensure freshness. The outside of the bag is a heavily coated, glossy paper to add durability and an air-tight seal.
If you prefer to store your tea in tins, we do offer a range of tea tins in our accessories section for a nominal fee.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and any debit cards displaying these logos.
Is there any sales tax?
Sales tax is applied only to residents of Illinois.
What is your shipping policy?
Orders with UPS shipping selected will usually be shipped one business day after receipt. UPS delivers to most US locations within 1-5 business days depending on proximity to our Chicago warehouse. When your package is shipped you will receive an email with your tracking number. The shipping options DO NOT INCLUDE Saturday delivery. This is a significant additional expense through UPS. A Next Day Air order placed on Thursday will be shipped on Friday and will arrive at the destination on Monday, the following business day.
Any order in excess of $35 and shipped anywhere within the 48 contiguous United States is eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping. These orders will be shipped within three business days after receipt and will arrive at their destination within 5-7 business days after the order is placed.
If you need your order sooner, would like to purchase less than $35, or would like to ship to Alaska or Hawaii, we offer the full range of UPS shipping services from standard ground to Next Day Air with rates calculated automatically based on weight and distance.
Because we ship UPS, we cannot ship to Post Office Boxes.

How do I return an order?
We want you to be happy with all the items you ordered and will gladly accept back any item in un-used condition that was purchased within 30 days of receipt. We will also cover the cost of return shipping for any orders which are incorrect or damaged. We can not cover the cost of return shipping for items that are simply unwanted.
